Like many creative types, Fiona Tomlinson explored a few career paths before discovering her gift for photography.

Along with her science degree, she also spent a few years at art school, is working towards a degree in architecture and is also a mum.
All this experience has proven valuable time and again in her photography work.

Following art school, Fiona worked for a photography studio where she gained practical experience in commercial and editorial photography. Fiona then left to start her own business and now, close to 15 years later, she is a well-established Auckland based photographer.

Throughout the years she has run hundreds of shoots on location or from within her own studio, and has taken photos for both local and international magazines.
