I’ve been a photographer for over 25 years, I’m drawn to moments that are full of beauty, spontaneity, and energy—those real, unscripted moments that tell a genuine story. My style is a mix of reportage (documentary) and editorial.

Over the years, I’ve photographed more than 500 weddings both in New Zealand and around the world. I’m also the author of Old Dog’s Wisdom, which was published by New Holland Australia—a project close to my heart.

As an editorial and commercial photographer in Auckland the majority of my work was for magazines and television - I’ve been lucky to photograph a wide range of people over the years including TV presenters, actors and comedians, sporting superstars and business leaders through to acting legends Stephen Fry and my childhood hero John Travolta.

These days, my photography work is focused on elopements and intimate weddings. As a Wanaka elopement photographer, I know just how meaningful these smaller, personal celebrations can be. Elopements are all about the two of you, not about big crowds or stress—and my photography reflects that.
